Prisma Coat Decorative Plaster
Product Description
Prisma Coat Decorative is a polymermodified cementitious decorative finish for interior and exterior walls. It provides a smooth, durable, textured finish with good adhesion, weather resistance and easy workability.

Typical Product Data (Typical values)
- Recommended application thickness: 4–8 mm
- Pot life (mixed): 60–90 minutes at 23°C
- Touch dry: 1–2 hours (depending on temperature/humidity)
- Full cure: 7 days (mechanical properties continue to develop up to 28 days)
Test Standards
- Compressive strength: ASTM C109 / equivalent EN method
- Flexural strength: ASTM C348 / equivalent EN method
- Adhesion: EN 1542 (pulloff) or ASTM C1583
- Water absorption and durability: EN 1015 series or ASTM equivalents
Surface Preparation
- Ensure substrate is sound, clean, dry and free of dust, oil, loose particles, laitance and curing compounds.
- New concrete or cement plaster: allow at least 28 days curing, protect from rapid drying.
- Repair cracks and honeycombs with appropriate repair mortar. Remove mould or algae; treat with biocide if required.
- Steel and metal: remove rust, apply suitable primer.
Mixing Instructions
- Use clean potable water and a clean mixing vessel.
- Pour 80% of required water into drum; slowly add Prisma Coat Decorative powder while mixing with a lowspeed drill and paddle.
- Add remaining water to obtain a lumpfree, homogeneous paste. Do not exceed recommended water.
- Let stand for 2–3 minutes, remix and use within pot life.
Application
- Apply by stainless steel trowel, plastic float, or spray gun depending on finish required.
- For textured finishes use a sponge, brush or special float while material is still workable.
- Protect from rapid drying — mist cure or use wet hessian in hot/dry conditions.
- Do not apply at ambient or substrate temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C.
Curing
- Keep surface moist for at least 24–48 hours after application in hot/dry weather for best strength development.
- Protect from rain for first 6–12 hours (depending on weather).
Storage & Shelf Life
- Store in cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture.
- Shelf life: 08 months in original unopened bags when stored dry.
- Do not store directly on ground; rotate stock (first in, first out).

- 50 Polypropylene bag sealed with polyethylene liner.
Health & Safety
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Contains cemen, alkaline. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- Wear protective gloves, goggles and dust mask during mixing and application.
- In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- Do not ingest, if swallowed, seek medical attention.

Disposal
- Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.
