Prisma Seal

Product Description

Prisma Seal is a two-component, polymer-modified, cementitious waterproofing coating. It combines a liquid polymer (Component A) with a high-quality cement-based powder (Component B) to provide excellent adhesion, flexibility, and long-term protection against water ingress. Suitable for both positive and negative water pressure applications.

Surface Preparation

• Substrate must be clean, sound, and free from dust, oil, grease, or loose particles.
• Repair cracks and honeycombs with suitable repair mortar.
• Pre-wet the substrate with clean water, ensuring a saturated surface-dry (SSD) condition.

Mixing

• Pour Component A (liquid polymer)into a clean container.
• Gradually add Component B (powder)while mixing with a slow-speed mechanical stirrer until a smooth, lump-free slurry is achieved.
• Avoid excess water addition.

Application

• Apply the first coat with a brush, roller, or spray on prepared surface.
• Allow 4–6 hours drying before applying the second coat crosswise.
• Protect freshly applied coating from direct sunlight, strong wind, or rain for at least 24 hours.
• For potable water tanks, allow 7 days curing before filling.

Coverage

• 1.5 – 2.0 kg/m² for 1 mm thickness (in 2 coats).

Shelf Life & Storage

• 12 months in original sealed packaging.
• Store in cool, dry conditions away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Health & Safety

• Use gloves, goggles, and protective clothing during application.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes; in case of contact, wash with plenty of water.
• Non-toxic and non-flammable.
