Product Description

Prisma Skimcoat is a high-quality, polymer-modified cementitious finishing plaster designed to provide a smooth, durable, and fine-textured surface for interior and exterior walls. It is specially formulated for application on concrete, blockwork, and plastered surfaces prior to painting or wallpapering.

Surface Preparation

• Ensure substrate is clean, sound, and free from dust, grease, or loose particles.
• Dampen the surface slightly with clean water before application.
• Repair cracks or holes with suitable repair mortar.

Mixing

• Mix 20 kg Prisma Skimcoatwith 6–7 liters of clean water.
• Stir thoroughly until a smooth, lump-free paste is achieved.
• Allow the mixture to rest for 2–3 minutes and remix before use.
• Use the prepared mix within its pot life.

Application

• Apply using a steel trowel or putty knife in thin layers.
• For thicker applications, apply in multiple coats, allowing each coat to set before applying the next.
• Allow 24 hours curing before painting or further finishing.

Packaging

• 20 kg and 40 kg moisture-resistant bags.

Shelf Life & Storage

• 12 months from date of manufacture in original, unopened packaging.
• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Health & Safety

• Contains cement, which is alkaline when mixed with water.
• Avoid contact with skin and eyes; wear gloves and goggles during application.
• In case of contact, wash immediately with clean water.
• Keep out of reach of children.
